Hi Jerry & the George Fund..
Chance had a very successful day of big wall training yesterday (MAY 18, 2014). It really boosted his skills and I think he is truly ready to tackle some introductory aid routes in Yosemite.
All in all, Chance picked up quite a few new skills and I think he is in a good position to go to Yosemite and climb basic routes safely. It was a pleasure to work with him and I appreciate the opportunity to provide this service for the George Fund.
Thanks for your nice note. It’s very much my pleasure to be involved with our local kids in this capacity. I have a great deal of appreciation for the outdoor opportunities our area provides for their personal growth and education.
Thanks again for the opportunity to work with the GGSF. It was really neat to see the wheels turning for Chance on Sunday. He is smart, motivated, and enthusiastic and I’m confident he is building skills that will serve him well for his entire life. Good stuff.
