As part of the Ridgway Secondary School Field Trip Program, the 9th grade class will have the opportunity to learn to ice climb this winter. During three Wednesday afternoons in late January and early February, the students will be joined by professional guides from local outfitters Peak Mountain Guides and San Juan Mountain Guides to learn how to ice climb. It is a special opportunity for students to experience the unique sport of ice climbing while enjoying the great outdoors with their classmates.
