George Gardner Scholarship Fund is dedicated to ensuring that Ouray County youth have the support and opportunity to explore the outdoors and themselves in the outdoors. We have funded youth to learn avalanche safety, Wilderness First Aid, and “bigwall” climbing skills; helping them prepare for “dream trips”. We help fund Ridgway’s Learn to Ski and Learn to Ice Climb programs and Ridgway Senior class’s team building Outward Bound rafting trip each fall. Our scholarships are open to all Ouray County youth, ages 14-19. Visit our scholarship page for more information.
